Obra RiverThe Obra River, known by some as the 'beaver trail' and by some locals as the home of the 'Dog-and-Duck-eating River Monster' (Poland's very own Loch Ness Monster!). The Obra is without a doubt one of the most interesting kayaking and rafting rivers in Poland. This nature lovers paradise meanders its way through Lubuskie in the west-central Poland. The Obra River has numerous lakes along its route and the area is covered by forests and unspoilt countryside, rich in wildlife. Towns in which the Obra River flows through include Babimost, Bledzew, Międzyrzecz, and Skwierzyna. The nearest city to the route of the Obra is Gorzów Wielkopolski.
